Elizabeth Padilla, Northwestern University Intern Student Supervised by Wanda Hudson, M.Ed, LPC
Hello! My name is Eli and I’m so excited to work with the Wanda Hudson Consulting team as a graduate-level student-counselor. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Dallas and am currently working towards my Master of Arts degree in counseling at Northwestern University. I enjoy bringing a psychodynamic perspective into my practice by recognizing that each of us exists within a unique blend of body, mind, and social context.
I know first-hand how challenging it can be to navigate the highs and lows of life. Having gone through my share of challenges as a first-generation Latina woman, I know that sometimes what we experience can feel too much to go through alone. I hope to create a welcoming, inclusive, and trusting environment so that we can work together towards change.
I view counseling as a collaborative process where we work jointly and equally to help achieve your goals. My role is to try to understand you wholly, to support and challenge you, and to help carry what you may bring into session. Your job is to be authentically yourself and to be open to working through the process. I would feel so honored to walk alongside you in your journey of growth.
